Liz Park • A Walk with Bill

Bill was a good friend of mine who passed away while snowboarding at Mt. Baker this past December. He was one of the first friends I made after I moved to Washington from Jackson Hole, and we bonded over a love of snowboarding and art nerdy things. He would hike the arm of Mt. Shuksan when conditions allowed and took a lot of photos when he went out there. I got a lot of good days snowboarding with Bill up at Baker, but I never ended up going on a walk out on the arm with him. This is a painting that I did for him, using several of his photos he took over the years.
